The cook-man would like to thank you for such a great potluck last week. The food was fantastic and the fellowship was even better!

This is our Third Sunday of the Advent season. The word Advent means “coming “or “arrival”.” It is, in a sense, a countdown of anticipation in which we celebrate Christ’s coming, in which He was born into this world as a small child in a manger just over 2000 years ago.

December our next leadership team meeting will be announced at a later time.

We need to replenish our pantry with can goods, if you can help, please bring your items to the church with you and place them in the basket at the door. Thank you.

There are four barrels around town to collect good used coats, hats and cloves for people that are in need. The locations are located at the Water District Office, Hobbey’s Casino, Scolaris store and the Dollar store.

Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

Beware! Don’t be greedy for what you don’t have. Real life is not measured by how much we own. Our wealth is the relationship we have with the Lord.

Change your thoughts and you change the world.

It’s never too late to be who you might have been.

Are you willing to change, you cannot be the same today as you were yesterday. We must learn daily from God and be obedient unto Him.
