UPCOMING EVENTS

The
cook-man
would like to
invite all to an after Thanksgiving potluck. The way this
works is that you make a little extra for thanksgiving dinner
and bring what ever you have left over to the church November
the 30, 2008 and we will enjoy a meal together.
Hey, hey movie night is back starting Saturday October the
25 at 6:00 pm.
Our next leadership
meeting will be Sunday November the 9 2008. Let us pray for
those that are on our leadership team. Ask God to give them
the wisdom to make the right choices for the church.
There are sixteen people
going to the Gaither’s concert Monday November the 17 2008.
We will meet at the church that evening and go in the van.
We can get more tickets if you know someone that would like
to go.
We had about 230 people
we gave food to last Monday. We ask that you pray for this
new ministry that has been started through our church. We
start at 2:00 and are finished about 4:00.
What is God doing in your life?
Are you open to His leading everyday?

Are you asking what Jesus would
do before you start anything?
If not, start, it won’t hurt you!
Are you willing to change, you cannot be the
same today as you were yesterday. We must learn daily from
God and be obedient unto Him.

Sun Valley GID meetings 2nd & 4th Tuesday
of every month at 6 pm (5000 Sun Valley
Blvd, lower level)
The Sun Valley Citizen Advisory Board
meets the 2nd Saturday of every other month
at 9 a.m. (115 west 6th Ave. by the pool)
The Sun Valley Landowners Associations
meets the 2nd Wednesday every month at
6 pm. (Blue Bldg., 5360 Sun Valley Blvd.)

Our Christian
hour is for all ages! We gather together for pledges, songs,
prayer, puppet show and a Bible lesson along with arts and crafts.
We have fun while learning how to apply the word of God to our everyday
lives.
Our Worship
Celebration brings an opportunity for all to hear a message
of encouragement, reflection, praise and an invitation to change our
lives for Jesus through music, prayer, and illustrations that will
leave you laughing.
The Wednesday
night study allows us to gather in a relaxed atmosphere while
learning how to apply the word of God to our lives on a daily bases.
The Food
Pantry gives out food to those that need extra
help from time to time.
